Esoteric Breast Massage (EBM), a Universal Medicine Therapy, is a healing modality for women offered by qualified female practitioners. It is a hands-on massage, using warm cream and oil applied directly to the skin on the area around the breast, encompassing mainly the lymphatic as well as the heart area, nurturing centers (underneath the breast) and self empowerment area (above the breast).

 

The massage may release areas of hardness, contraction and or tension we hold around our breasts which can offer the possibility to introduce a renewed quality of energy to these areas, which in turn brings a different quality of energy through to the breasts and restores the true quality of nurturing that our breasts innately emanate. We then have the opportunity to honor and cherish this connection in the way we live. 

 

For the many years that Mary-Louise has been working with women and practicing Esoteric Breast Massage, she has come to see that most women view their breasts in an entirely functional way – for feeding their babies and or sexual interactions. Of course these expressions are a natural part of life, but before we share them with others in these capacities it is really important that we know and live the fact that they are belonging to our body first and foremost and are not made for the sole purpose of these external expressions.

 

In addition, how our breasts feel, both physically and how we feel about them from a psychological and emotional point of view, give us very clear signs as to how we have been living / treating our body and our attitudes towards it. Symptoms that may manifest such as being sore, having pain or swelling can support us to deepen our awareness of areas in our lives where we have not been as tender, respectful and honoring as is possible. The EBM facilitates an honest review without judgment or frustration, simply the inspiration that different and or more loving choices can be made, and thus assisting women to restore a deep connection to a very tender and sacred part of who they are.
